Born in Mexico City, Jessica Sandoval – Jess – moved to Barcelona when she was 18 and has enjoyed the sun and the sea there ever since. She specialised in Creativity and Copywriting while studying Advertising at the Universitat Ramon Llull. Jess worked as a copywriter at several creative agencies, including Tiempo BBDO and DoubleYou. She started writing for the Nike account while in DoubleYou, and quickly became their trusted reviewer and transcreator. Since 2017, Jess has worked for Nike as Language Specialist, stretching regularly to also support local brand activations. Jess manages Nike’s tone of voice in Spanish through all digital content types, and strives daily to create better brand connections with local consumers in Spanish, Catalan and Portuguese.
